Frank’s Faces of Web 2.0 was quoted on HitchHikr today about participation with Educon 2.0

My head is still spinning. I just participated in the stream from EduCon’s conference. Attendees were talking about twitter and how to take advantage of it for educational purposes. Lots of confusion even among Webheads on how to harness the power of twitter and get started. I enjoyed chatting live via Ustream with Tom Barrett, Langwitch’s Silvia, and J. Clark Evans. Thanks to all of you.

At the same time I was tweeting, answering emails, updating my blog and social network, and trying to take care of teacher’s concerns here at the university where I work. You must be a multi-tasker to survive in this technology-driven world .. that is for sure!

Here are the e EduCon Ustreams http://educon20.wikispaces.com/EduConTV

    Hi Frank
I was thinking of this multi-tasking, too, as I was doing the same thing for a spell: following the UStream, engaging in the chat room, checking out some emails and trying to get in virtual line for Red Sox tickets (I failed).
It’s interesting to think, this is what many of my students do so well and so naturally.
I followed you here from Classroom 2.0, by the way.
    Adios
    Kevin

    Hi Frank
Thanks for featuring my blog in your post! and for listing me as a 21st century teacher!
The EduCon event was amazing. I only had time to drop in ton a couple of sessions but the ability to participate in the sessions from half way around the world via streamed audio and video has certainly changed the face of conferencing as we know it.
Yes, I agree, to multi-task is essential today…however there is a chain of thought that multi-tasking is impossible…..not sure on the research about this one.
