elluminate

Earlier today I popped into the Elluminate live webcast for the Horizon Project planning session. I sort of felt like I did when I used to frequent senate hearings on Capitol Hill, sitting quietly in the gallery careful as to not make a peep. Well, by my own choosing as I really don’t know enough about the particulars of the project to participate right now. But it sure was interesting listening in and especially hearing the voices of all these people that you see and read commenting and posting in twitterlandia and to the edublogosphere. People like Julie Lindsay, Alan Levine, and I believe @Coolcatteacher Vicki Davis (aka Camilla School) was there too (and many, many more).

One thing is for sure. These are truly dedicated people that love what they are doing and love collaborating and making a difference. Thanks for all that you do. The screen capture below shows the planning cycle that was discussed during the session. Maybe next time I will have the courage to at least say “hi.”
